Antique 1916 bronze and sterling silver stamped trophy from the St. Louis Tennis Championship, awarded to B.G. Thursby for winning Junior Singles that year. At over 100 years old, it has the most beautiful dark patina, detailed sterling silver vinework framing the engraving, and a bold, sculptural silhouette that instantly draws the eye.
Stamped on the bottom and beautifully worn from age and use, it’s a striking statement as-is or filled with seasonal stems as I’ve styled it here.
