Antique hand-carved and hand-painted chessboard tray with old nails and a hook to hang. Found in a home with many hand-made chess boards, one of which I recently sold. Hand-carved game boards were popular home projects in the 1800s — this one shows wonderful craftsmanship and history. 22" x 12"
