An incredible pair of charcoal portraits signed and dated 1905. This wife and husband are beautifully rendered in textured charcoal and framed under glass in gilded wood frames. Statement-sized and evocative of another era. They were commissioned for the family at the time, and I love that they are still together, all these years later. A truly wonderful statement pair.
